Introduction

Fab Lab Egypt is providing you an opportunity to learn, design and implement your projects professionally by offering you SOLID WORKS ESSENTIALS program. SOLIDWORKS ESSENTIALS is an intensive SolidWorks program that has been created to fit in your busy schedule with 45 hours of designing and practicing.
In this course, your skills and abilities will be tested through a full set of assignments and project. These assessment elements guarantee you that you will gain the full potential of the SOLIDWORKS and be able to model every project that you are going to create.
SolidWorks is a 3D solid modeling package which allows users to develop full solid models in a simulated environment for both design and analysis. In SolidWorks, you sketch ideas and experiment with different designs to create 3D models.

Objectives

 Be able to create and edit 2D & 3D sketches.
 Be able to use sketch tools and features to maintain the fully definition of the sketch.
 Be able to use modeling features to create 3D model.
 Determine the model properties.
 Assigning materials and using library features.
 Creating an assembly with fully defined relations.
